The Kimmidoll has seen a definite surge in popularity, and no wonder, considering her many, and varied looks. In the last year, this figurine, with its many faces, sizes, and styles, has adorned the catwalk in Los Angeles during Fashion Week, has had not one, but two different tones/styles of bed linens and matching accessories launched in Germany, Spain (and Portugal). She was celebrated, in May of 2011, at the "Mommy and Me" event, in which her proceeds went to support the "One Drop Foundation" Charity. Her other "credentials": honored in at least one Japanese restaurant (local: Japan), star of a number of new stores dedicated to her style and sensibilities. As if that weren't enough to attest to her popularity, a new line of pajama wear has been inspired by her look(s) by the Spanish clothing line Oysho. These dolls, collectable wooden figurines, are all over Europe, and since 2010, they are being sold in the United States.

These dolls do appear to appeal to people of all ages, and the Kimmidoll site is quite interactive--yes, you CAN join the Kimmidoll club--with games like sudoko, Kimmidoll memory, etc., and there are wallpaper designs (see right and below for examples) made for your PC/Mac, or, mobile device.

Kimmidoll's products range from the dolls themselves, to mugs, cosmetic purses, journals and pens, and keychains, to name just a few! In the US, you're (at present) most likely to find the dolls and the keychains, though I am searching for those delightful mugs!
